Currently the BVHG is actively recording as much recent history as possible from older residents of the village and documenting the history of the various key buildings, especially those that formed an important part of the innovative Portman Estate.

Bryanston is a parish full of history, from traces of Beaker People who lived in the early Bronze Age to more recent barn dances with the likes of Acker Bilk. We hope you find the articles we have produced interesting, and we always welcome more information, photos and validations.
