The Parish Council has seven elected councilors who meet on the second Wednesday of January, March, May, July September and November. Meetings are held in the Bryanston Club starting at 7p.m. with an opportunity for members of the public to have a say. The agenda and minutes are displayed on the notice boards located near the telephone box on The Cliff and opposite Home Farm.
Bryanston’s Parish Church is St.Nicholas in Durweston. The Rector is Stephen Coulter.
Bryanston is in the catchment area for Durweston CE Primary School and The Blandford School.

All residents of Bryanston are automatically members of the Village Association. It is independent of, but works happily with, Bryanston Parish Council. It undertakes fun fund raising events e.g. quiz nights, skittles, and of course, the famous Tea on the Lawn in the summer. You will receive a bi-monthly Newsletter informing you of happenings in the village, your contributions will be very welcome.

For a small membership fee Bryanston Estate Club is open to all. It boasts an excellent skittle alley, as well as tables for pool. The hall can be hired very reasonably for both children’s and adult celebrations.

There are two surgeries in Blandford, Eagle House (tel 01258 453171) and Whitecliff (tel 01258 452501). Both are located nearly opposite each other on Whitecliff Mill Street.
There are two post boxes in the village, one on the first bend after leaving New Road and the second is built into the wall of The Old Post Office, Number 4, Bryanston.
In Lower Bryanston refuse is collected on Wednesdays and in the rest of the village on Thursdays. The green recycling bin, glass box and waste food bin will be emptied one week and the following week will be for the black rubbish bin and the food waste bin.
